The Magic Crystal
'Quick, give me the magic crystal!'Aylen raised it to her eye. 'I see the way.'
The four held hands with Aylen at the centre. All eyes were closed. There was a whirring, a buzzing, a blankness. Conscious agan of their surroundings, feet reaching for the ground beneath, they stamped to feel its solidness. Eyes open, looking around; it was true then - the crystal was magic.
Aylen smiled. She had brought her friends safely home.
