To My Darling Y

An ode to the one that's the love all my life
My partner, my friend, my wonderful wife
I Remember our first date, many years ago
A quite simple dinner and then off to a show
After so many years I still recall it all so well
I think that purple dress just put me in a spell
All I know is that I love you I put you in my heart
You being my friend has been the very best part
Life's not easy and yes, we've had a problem or two
But I know that I will survive as long as I have you
