Thankful #3 Brother Can you Spare a Dime?
It started in the thirties an idea unheard of beforeTo give help to those unprivileged and so poor
Certainly not a panacea but more of a safety net
And to say that it will last has never been a good bet.
Yet for almost eighty years it's been a huge respite
So here's to Social Security's aid when things get tight
