Career Woman

So young when she married, still just a lass
A shy young girl but still loaded with sass
With such pretty blue eyes and a head full of curls
She always thought different, never one of the girls
She went to work for 'the bank' to improve our life
I was against it, we fought, yes it caused us some strife
There's money to be made if I work long and hard
She had thoughts on our future, a house with a yard
Of course she was right, as she ever seems to be
I was so proud of my bride when she made AVP
