The evenings in the fall
are the best as I recall
the air is crisp and cool
all the children gone to school
The trees are multi hued
begging candy is not rude
a sweater feels just right
even by the fire's light
it's a lovely time to
after bringing in the hay
I must say all in all
that the evenings in the fall
