Soon you'll be sleeping, child,
Night time is here,
Away to your dreaming world,
Child, have no fear.

Though there is darkness,
I am not far away,
So don't fear the silence, child
Soon you'll see day.

Just close your eyes, my dear,
Sleep and don't cry,
For you are not alone,
Morning will come, by and by.
