Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Douglas on March 15, 2009
"This poem has only two rhymes, which alternate throughout the entire poem."
Pi Day
I hungered for a bit of food to eat,A moist and sug'ry piece of pecan pie -
A giant slice of this delightful treat,
I ate enough an army to supply.
And when at last my belly was replete,
I groaned, and thought that I would surely die,
For though at first I thought it no great feat,
My stomach is much smaller than my eye.
And just how much confection did I eat?
To answer that you need a different pi!
