Coastal Precipice
A frigid wind sweeps o'er the coastal hills -With fury howls and pulls upon my sleeve.
But I, with equal measure of resolve,
Defy the springtide gale and stand unmoved
Mere inches from the granite precipice
And dare the lashing oceanic squall
To launch me headlong from those lofty heights...
Okay, in truth 'twas only just a breeze,
And each "mere inch" was closer to a foot.
