Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by Douglas on December 3, 2008
"A warehouse in South Paris burned today. You probably can tell, from the writing of this, that I'm teaching both Physical Science and Physics this fall! :)"
Solid, Liquid, Gas (Warehouse Fire in South Paris)
Reaching out to touch the flames,Parabolic liquid plumes
Rise amidst occluding smoke
And metamorphose into fumes,
Or bravely journey through the fire,
Downward drift in misty haze,
Touch the frozen concrete earth,
Then form a slick and icy glaze.
