Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by du courage on November 1, 2014
"On Halloween, I went for a walk in the woods, alone. I was very alert, and when I heard someone else coming nearer, I was afraid. I didn't see the beautiful scenery anymore, I only saw my own thoughts of what might happen. As it turned out, it was a nice elderly man who "followed" me and we even had en chat about the beautiful weather. So this was my "confronting my fears" day."
Spooky: Halloween
I'm not afraid of grinning pumpkinsor skeletons and such
The horror scene
of Halloween
does not affect me much
But a walk in the woods,
alone
where everyone I see
might be a threat, a murderer
that really frightens me
unnecessarily.
