Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by du courage on May 10, 2014
"Last week, at the gym, we did an exercise which required making sound, loudly. I discovered I couldn't, I had suppressed it for too long. But it gave birth to this poem."
Don't make a sound
Don't make a soundyour brother is ill
you mother sleeps
be silent you will
Don't make a sound
your father's at work
be sure you do nothing
that perhaps might disturb
Don't make a sound
your child is awake
your husband needs silence
his concentration at stake
Don't make a sound
be quiet forever
I've already accomplished
This endeavour
