The following is a piece of writing submitted by du courage on September 15, 2013
"When watching the news I often feel sad for all the nasty things people can do to each other. I can't end wars or prevent nasty things from happening, but a little dreaming can't be harmful."
Dreaming
Unlikely thingscan happen to you
like waking up in the morning
(which I usually do)
in a world
that glows rosy golden around me
(just the colors I love most to see)
Flaming ferns of a brilliant blue
changing their form
and color too
And what about me?
Tiny and green
I seem to be
and at complete peace
with the world I see
Of course
I do not mind
there don't seem to be humans
of the quarreling kind
