"Out here in the woods where I live, things can get pretty spooky looking and sounding after dark. I told my daughter it has inspired me to write a book of poetry like this for my grandchildren, but she doesn't seem overly worried. She says that generations of children have lived through Grimm's Fairy Tales.

The sun has gone: the moon is bright,And bathes the world in eerie light--
Where shadow creatures roam the night,
And cause us all to quake in fright.
