The Source of Peace

The Prince of Peace became a man to offer peace to men.
Two thousand years—men hate Him still, just as they did back then.
Today the masses cry for peace, and yet are finding none,
And won’t, unless they find it in the form of God’s own Son.

Until the time that He returns to cleanse the world of sin,
The only hope that we possess for peace will be within.
So, in this Advent season, we should try to do our parts
To share the peace that we have found abiding in our hearts.
