"As much as I hate the cold, I might just stay put. The summer rains down there are a bit much right now. Not like I could afford the trip anyway.
It's funny. When I was a kid I thought Australia must be like heaven. But the more I find out about it, the more I think that maybe it has a greater similarity to the other place."

It's January Again
The sun is high. The sands are hot.The warm surf pounds like thunder.
But still my buns are freezing off—
Because I’m not Down Under.
