Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by lostcerebellum on October 16, 2010
"I was thinking about how time goes by. The seconds go so fast that they are almost indistinguishable from each other, but add up so quickly, and before we know it we’re asking ourselves where the time went."
The Flow of Time
The seconds of our lives cascade like raindrops in the showersAnd quickly pool and run off into minutes, and then hours.
Descending on, they congregate, becoming brooks and creeks
Of hours and days accumulating, merging into weeks.
Then like a river, months and years flow on into the sea,
And swallowed up, they dissipate into eternity.
