Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction

The following is a piece of writing submitted by lostcerebellum on December 15, 2009
"I have to admit, it certainly was pretty when I woke up this morning."
It Snowed Last Night
I woke up to a winter wonderlandOf soft white cotton piled on all the trees.
It brought me recollections oh so grand,
Of youth, and times I sat on Santa’s knees.
I woke up to a world changed overnight
By fluffy little cotton balls of snow
That gave the world a blanket pure and white,
And made it seem like it was all aglow.
I woke up to a world so gleaming bright
And beautiful, it made my spirit soar.
To think that such a lovely, gorgeous sight
Means, "Time to get the shovel out once more".
