Writing Resources from Fifteen Minutes of Fiction
Three Men on a Hill
Three men hung on trees. Two were just common thieves,
But the third was an innocent lamb.
Three men on a hill,
Two surrendered their wills,
While one clung to his still, and was damned.
Three men hung there crying,
All three of them dying
For deeds of iniquity sown.
Two men up there hung
For the wrongs they had done,
But the third—for all sins but his own.
